LOVE the entire Midlothian Animal Clinic experience! Our pets have seen several doctors and each one has treated us with care, respect, and truly listened to our concerns. The support staff is fantastic - the front desk and vet techs are top notch. Fees are reasonable too, making sure we can get vet care without breaking the bank.

This clinic is one of the best I've encountered. Pros: - Clinic is always clean. - Staff are exceptional in every way from being professional, courteous, respectful and the best with their furry patients. - Parking has always been ample - Small fenced in dog park for potty breaks - Care rendered to patients is always thorough and of high quality - Prices are fair especially for the quality of services rendered Cons: - You're dealing with animal welfare, the outcomes aren't always what you'd hope for. That cannot be held against this clinic though, as that's animal healthcare as a whole. Conclusion: I'm going to regret posting this review especially this last portion as I anticipate it making appointments a bit more difficult to schedule but they're the best. I was impressed by the professional and relational excellence of Midlothian Animal Clinic. The demeanor and general atmosphere of the entire office was full of positive energy, collaboration, and a helpful attitude. Our vet tech was a younger man who was awesome in the ways he supported our beagle, Poppy, and supported her rescue parents. He was patient, kind, and answered our questions with clarity. Dr. Shelly showed a deep care and gentleness with Poppy. We never felt rushed, and we felt like Poppy’s medical issue was fully addressed. She even helped us think through future wellness needs for Poppy. The facility was first-rate, super clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend Midlothian Animal Clinic; it is a bright spot in every way.

FYI there’s a DOG PARK / securely (no lock on gate, only dog escape point might be at entrance, where the grass has balded, leaving a sandy dip below the otherwise escape-free fenced-in area) enclosed, grassy, half-shaded-by-trees/ shady dog park / leash-free dog play area, right in front of the building, in the middle of the parking lot for numerous local businesses. I’m a traveling nurse who’s searched for nearby dog parks for months, whilst living 3min from this gem, unbeknownst the whole time. It’s almost 3am, now, and this is the safest place my fresh-from-surgery chihuahua and I could ever be. Clean, dog toys present, no water source, and I’m likely not supposed to be here but this is A+++

This practice has the kindest veterinary team. We’ve brought our two labs and our cat here for five years, and the care has always been exceptional. Dr. Withers and Dr. Becky consistently stand out for their compassion and their willingness to take the time to listen and answer every question. They truly understand that our pets are family and treat them that way.
