Middle Georgia Heart

I have been a patient of Middle Georgia Heart before the practice was M G H. I have always received good care from the doctors and staff. I was seen by the new doctor in Griffin a week ago. Dr. Gandy will be a good fit he has good bedside manners willing to listen to your concerns. He is a straight and up front.

We started out very pleased either MGH but the last month has been horrible. They need someone managing this business. You call and cannot get through or you call and are told something is being done and it never is(Dr orders for tests, perscription s, returned calls)to much to even type in this box. Phone service answering phone and a dog barking in the background as well as children voices in the background. Another call and the person has no clue about heart issues to understand what you are trying to tell them and she also wasn’t even saying the correct name of the of the facility when she answered the phone, I had to question her about who she was answering the phone for. Another time I was told by them that the person I was returning the call to was not anybody that worked there. V

My test was done by Jason who was most professional. He took time to explain carefully every single aspect of what my test would entail. He made sure I understood everything that was being done as I was getting my IV, getting the medications and imaging. He was reassuring and played calming music during the imaging. During my stress test he explained each step again and then carefully assessed while I was being monitored. My carotid artery imaging was done by another very competent professional whose name I didn’t know. I admit I was a little nervous about my test but my experience was very good. I felt well cared for and had no problem trusting that the people taking care of me were well trained and trustworthy and that they were committed to making my medical tests as safe and comfortabl

I’ve been with Dr. K. for 8 years now, and I’m feeling strong and riding my horses with confidence! The team at Mid GA Heart is top-notch; and it’s reassuring to know the heart center hospital is right down in Macon if any surgeries are ever needed.
