I was referred to Dr. Pramanik by my husband and another friend for my cataracts. I’ve taken my “good vision” for granted thru my whole life, so launching into the process of diagnosing, treating and following up, has been a little hard for me. My surgery experiences went very smoothly - excellent care at the surgicenter. My post-op course has had a few bumps but Dr. Pramanik and both his associates (Dr. Bell and Dr. Sherron, Mid Atlantic Corneal Consultants, MACC), have been attentive, supportive and remained committed to giving me the best results possible. Dr. Pramanik has given superb care with explanations along the way. Ultimately, my vision is great and I am so grateful for the care and caring I have received from Mid Atlantic Corneal Consultants. Had an appointment last month, was treated fairly well. The only reason for 3 stars was I witnessed one of the Dr.’s I believe a Dr. Sharen flirt with a receptionist. The receptionist was named Alexa or Alice, but either way, the visit was great and my eye issues have resided but watching this was unsettling. Thats all, will return with hopes of it being a one time misunderstanding. Thanks again Mid Atlantic!

I wanted to finally write a review after having visited this office for almost over 2 years for 6 IPL treatments. When I first started going there my dry eyes were so bad that I was wearing glasses with a light prescription for the left eye. I started seeing an improvement after the 2nd or 3rd IPL treatment. Yes it's a little expensive but it has been absolutely worth it. I do not need to wear glasses any longer and I can go about my day without worrying about too many symptoms. I just had another IPL treatment done after not having it done for about 6 months and I know it's going to help again. This was my 2nd time being treated by Dr. Bell and she's great. Today she was the only doctor in the office but she still took the time to do my IPL and went over everything not in a rush at all.

Dr Pramanik, Dr Ghazzi, and the staff members have treated us like family. Their professionalism and expertise are unmatched by any medical office I've been in. From the diagnosis to the procedure and even providing extra paperwork for the insurance company (and the military) I can't say enough! The care in the York and Baltimore offices every time was thorough, they were very accommodating and took their time to answer questions and explain details. Front desk, scheduling, assistants, and the doctors, each staff member we encountered were top notch. They went above and beyond and we are forever grateful!

I had IPL treatment here for severe dry eye that was going on 5 years. After about 5 sessions of IPL I am completely dry eye free and haven't had any treatment in over a year. This was a life changing procedure for me, I finally feel normal again. It is sad to hear that insurance companies are no longer covering this treatment. Either way, it would have been worth paying out of pocket! Thank you Dr Bell and Dr Ghazi!
