Michelle N Brenes, PA

Today I had a visit with Michelle N. Brenes, PA, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The visit felt extremely rushed. Antibiotics were prescribed quickly for an ear infection, and when I asked whether it was typical that my child had not complained of ear pain until today, I felt the response was dismissive and patronizing. I was even told to look at my child’s ear myself to “believe” the diagnosis, which was uncomfortable, as I am not a medical professional and cannot assess an ear infection on my own. Additionally, my child has a persistent cough that has not been improving, and the provider only listened to her lungs after I specifically requested it, and even then the exam felt very brief. Overall, I did not feel that my concerns were fully heard or that my child

I have had two encounters with this provider and both were nothing but absolute negative experiences. First appointment we had with her she talked down to me as a mother about where I brought my daughter for an urgent care. This last time she was not even a doctor, I am shocked by the behavior I have witnessed from this provider and if it were not for our regular pediatrician at this clinic, I would be going else where. I do not recommend booking with this provider.

Michelle has seen my children for many years. She takes her time to listen to me and my children. She does a great job teaching the children to self-advocate as well as incorporate parents into the visit. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Looks holistically at any concern. Patient/family centered.

She was rude and condescending. It was clear that she did not care about our concerns, and just wanted us out of there as quickly as possible.
