My mom went there 3 weeks 7-2022 and had cataract surgery that promised monovision. After three week the eyes haven't changed where she is still unable to see far away as sharp as she was promised like she used to. When called and asked to to have the doctor reevaluate they said it would cost another $2,500. Which is unacceptable and and is a tatal BS move. After several test I would never recommend this Dr. Banitt for any eye surgery!

I thought Dr. Banitt was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in personal details that could be important before, during or after my surgery. He made me feel very comfortable about putting myself in his hands.

My insurance provider gave me a referral to this Doctor's office. I spoke with a receptionist there and they said it'll take 2 weeks to process my referral then someone will be in touch within 48 hours. Waited 3 weeks with no response. I called the hospital again, another receptionist attempted to contact Dr. Banitt's office to ask what is going on with my referral. This receptionist wasn't able to get a hold of Dr. Banitt's office so she said she'll leave them a message to call me back. Another week and a half goes by without a call back. I call back again and a different receptionist says he's also unable to get a hold of Dr. Banitt's office and he'll leave yet another message for them to call me back. I just had the greatest experience at my eye doctor's. First time there. Everyone in the office if very friendly and knowledgeable and calm. I highly recommend Dr. Banitt and his staff.

I would recommend anyone with eye health concerns to go see Dr Michael Banitt. He is a good eye specialist, very friendly as with his staff and at his location in smokey point has all the latest in testing and diagnostic equipment.
