Dr. Bernstein is absolutely brilliant and has treated my husband who has stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer with a level of professionalism and most importantly, empathy, that we have ever experienced with a doctor. I'm so shocked by a previous review who gave him 1 star because she didn't care for an office employee. "Avoid MSK" is one of the most ludicrous and dangerous pieces of advice I've ever read. They've saved my husband's life and so many others and they're consistently rated #2 in the entire country for cancer treatment. Everyone from the valet to the greeters to the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors never forget they are dealing with patients who are scared and very ill. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Bernstein and everyone else that works with us at MSK.

I called Dr. Michael’s office to schedule an appointment for my father. Dr. Michael had previously treated my mother, we’ve always referred patients to him with confidence. Unfortunately, this recent experience was deeply disappointing. I was transferred multiple times before someone finally picked up her name was Sheri. From the start, her tone was dismissive and unprofessional. What should have been a simple process of entering my father’s basic information took over 40 minutes, with multiple unnecessary holds in between. It was clear she was working from home and prioritizing other things in the background. Dr Bernstein is extremely knowledgeable in his field. What was a frightening time in our lives was made easier through his caring and empathy for us.
