Miami Valley Hospital South Campus

I had a wonderful experience in the Joint and Spine Center. I opted to have 2 back surgeries in one day and I don't regret it. I was well taken care of by Dr. Godinsky, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Metzu, Dr. Levinson and Maria B. The nursing staff was wonderful: Kaitlin, Jessica, Cassie, Taylor and Alena, just to name a few. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care I received at Miami Valley South pre and post surgery. Chona from housekeeping was very friendly and engaging. The only thing I would change is the taste of the food lol lol. Thank you all for the quality of care that you gave to me. I truly appreciate it :-)

I went to the emergency room today due to what I believed was a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I felt that I was treated as though I were seeking medication rather than legitimate medical care. The physician was dismissive and did not appear to listen to what I was explaining about my symptoms and current treatment. I was prescribed steroids, even after I had clearly stated that I am already taking them. I was also told that my condition could not be what my psychiatrist suspects because itchiness isn’t a symptom. Being told this in such a definitive way felt inappropriate, as not every patient presents with the most common symptoms. My skin is extremely dry, I feel hot to the touch and as though I am burning,

I am currently a patient. Dr is great so are nurses PCT s and other staff. Very courteous. My issues, I have currently been having, are in Nutrition. Holding times. Time and temperatures. Meat Preparation. Quality of said product. I am , state certified. State licensed, when it comes to food prep. Multiple items of food, I was served, was not quality controlled. Expired. Dried out. Overcooked. Not quality. Menu selection, looks good on paper. On my tray I would notice multiple items missing. Beef broth, blueberry muffins. Drinks Entire entree's absent. Posted on choice selection list. No party wants to give my nurse a courtesy call. To ask, if I would like another option. Then there is no food I'm interested in, on my floor. I got bone spurs down my throat I can't swallow that stuff! So fo

Great facility, excellent staffing. Just had neck surgery and was treated very well. North Campus is terrific as well. Very professional operation, top to bottom. Special shout out to Nurse Taylor at MVHS Bone & Spine. What a sweetie! Highly recommend Miami Valley!
