Overall the care is absolutely terrible , everytime my husband or myself have been to this hospital the proper care is never done. For example they have my husband there now prescribing him UNNECESSARY blood thinners and he was told "every patient receives them" which is NOT okay at all and are ultimately causing the very liver issue reasons their keeping him for at an extended period of time when we were both told he was being discharged today.....they also allowed him to sit in his own bodily waste for hours before I had to raise hell resulting in him finally being cleaned up.NOT TO MENTION ITS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I am not happy and will definitely be reaching out to my medical malpractice lawyer‼️

Miami Valley has some of the best staff nurses, doctors and ancillary staff that I’ve experienced over the past several years. They were All very kind, and caring. From the ER in Beavercreek to ATA treatment waiting area to my room upstairs in the main hospital staff was exceptional. The only negative take away would be their food for the patients. It was horrible..

I recently had to stay overnight from surgery and my night nurse was phenomenal. She was so caring and attentive to me. I felt very loved and cared for! I had an amazing experience all the way from prep for surgery to going home. The staff were great! There were a couple complaints I’d have but I chalk it up to people being people ☺️ Otherwise, I recommend Miami Valley. My boyfriend was with me during the experience and he said he felt like everything was well organized and communicated to him throughout my stay! Thanks for creating a safe place to heal!

I have been here for 13 days now with my son-in-law. He has been in ICU trauma for 8 days and is now in the regular trauma floor. You couldn't ask for better nurses and doctors and surgical teams! The only complaint I have in anything is that in ICU waiting room is very dirty and the bathroom right off of there is also. But in the trauma floor everything is spotless. But a wonderful hospital and excellent care!

The saving grace here is the staff. The nurses, phlebotomists, and facilities crew are fantastic — genuinely kind, attentive, and clearly doing their best with what they’ve been given. They’re the reason this isn’t a lesser review. Everything else, unfortunately, drags the place down. From the moment I arrived after being transferred from the Beavercreek ER, it’s been a parade of delays and vague explanations. We already knew what the issue was and what the plan should’ve been. Instead, I’ve spent two full days (and counting) waiting for action while various professionals stop by to restate what will eventually happen — (if I don’t die of old age first. I’m 32.)
