Dr. Yvonne Layugan has been my PCM for a while and is consistently professional and friendly. She and her front desk staff, including her husband Angel, are always accommodating. I’ve never had any issues and recommend her if you need a reliable PCM.
This is the worst doctor's office I have ever been to in my entire life. They close for weeks at a time. When it says they're open they do not answer their phones. I've had to go up there multiple times when it should have just been a phone call cuz they were open. When the pharmacy sends my prescriptions back to them to get a pre-authorization they just send it back to them without it. It takes three or four times to get my prescription right because the people at the front don't do their job.
Dr Layugan is my primary care doctor. Her husband is her Medical assistant/ office manager. When I need to see the doctor, I can usually get in pretty quickly. Sometimes the same day.
My insurance told me to get my flu shot here to get the payment covered. I told the receptionist I just needed a flu shot right at the beginning when I was checking in for my appointment. I did my paper work l, which took about 10 min. I waited about 20 min after doing paperwork to be called in. I think the nurse thought it was a physical exam even though I just wrote flu shot for the reason of my visit. That whole process took about 15 more min. The nurse said she would be back. Once she came back, she told me they didn’t have any flu shots. I was pissed cause I wasted 45 min for nothing. I told them at the beginning I wanted my flu shot and my appointment was created all for the purpose of the flu shot. I waited and wasted 45 min for them to tell me they didn’t have any flu shots. Why di
This doctor has a problem actually listening to the patients. It's like she hears what they say but she doesn't listen. I came with my wife because she told me the last visit she was not listening to anything she was telling her and it was worse than I thought. It is clear this doctor does not understand basic things that other doctors we've gone to understand. I would stay away from here. The only reason we came here in the first place was because we just moved here and couldn't get in as new patients for a primary care doctor elsewhere because of the pandemic, but honestly at this point I rather wait until other clinics finally start accepting new patients than have to deal with a doctor that won't listen to you. I forgot to mention how when we got there and checked in we over heard her
