Methodist Minor Medical Center - Cordova

I visited Methodist Minor Medical Center in Cordova, TN, and the experience was excellent! First, the front desk receptionists were friendly and welcoming. And, the registration process was quick because they didn’t require me to fill out a lot of paperwork. Then, Tony F., who checked my vitals and discussed with me my treatment options, made me feel heard and understood. He was also professional, kind, and efficient. Lastly, Nurse Rhonda D’s. bedside manner is admirable ! I miss doctor visits where the nurse truly connects with their patients. I would like to thank her for building rapport with me and making our time educational, insightful, and the highlight of my visit! I recently had the opportunity to visit Methodist Minor Medical in Cordova. I was impressed with the efficiency of the clinic, as I was seen within a short time after my arrival. The staff seemed well-organized and attentive to the needs of patients. I was particularly pleased with the care I received from Sonya Sanders, the nurse who assisted me. She was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I appreciated the compassionate approach taken by Doctor Flotyl when addressing my concerns and providing treatment. The brief duration of my visit was also a positive experience, as I was able to receive the necessary care and return home in a timely manner. I had been feeling fatigued and sick all day and decided to go straight to the clinic when I woke up. I forgot to check the clinic hours before going. I arrived two minutes before they closed. I decided to go somewhere else but the manager saw me walking away and made sure that I was seen anyway. Without the incredible and caring staff who were there that night, I would not have been able to get medication for the flu and would have had to spend one more very uncomfortable night with fever and pain. I am extremely thankful to that team, and I know that I can always count on them for great care.

I waited for 2 hours to see a doctor to get checked out. I was having dizzy spells and my vision was blurry. When I was finally called back. The girl had an ear bud in her ear and was on a personal phone call. She was so distracted with her phone call she was struggling to log in to the computer to pull up my file. Then she left the room and a few minutes later a nurse practitioner opens the door and tells me I need to go to the ER. I was confused. I had just been to an ophthalmologist appointment and my eyes checked out fine. He thought I probably had an inner ear infection. I mentioned that to the nurse pract. Absolutely incredible experience here! I've had a lot of awful medical experiences with gaslighting and malpractice, but these people were so incredibly nice and professional!! Straight to the point, knowledgeable, and the np I saw (Molly I believe) was very sweet and truly listened to me about what was going on! I can't recommend this place enough! And I'll be back the next time something tragic happens to me lol.
