Methodist Health Center - Oak Lawn

I always have a great experience here and would recommend them to anyone. The NP, Valerie Gonzales, is awesome and so knowledgeable. I really appreciate how she takes the time to listen and explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I asked her about my specific issues and needs, and she walked me through the why and how behind managing them, which made me feel confident and supported. She carefully went through each of my medications, checked whether I needed refills, and clearly came prepared by reviewing my history before the appointment. That level of attention really shows they care and take the time to treat you as a whole person, not just a chart.

I appreciate the friendliness and courtesy I always experience at Methodist Health Center Oaklawn. And I find Dr. Hatfield to be a good listener who cares about me and how I'm feeling, and is always as helpful as he can possibly be. Thank you to everyone there!

From entering the door an being greeted by the lovely Wendy the experience is excellent. Staff is friendly and courteous. Dr Hatfield is increíble. He listens and provides excellent medical care.

Everyone at the ofc is always a pleasure to talk too. Dr Hatfield has become enjoyable to have as my Dr. He wasn't quiet himself this visit but we all have days those days we just want to stay home. Dr Hatfield is enjoyable and easy to talk too. See y'all in 6 months.

When first arrive you see an invitingly clean waiting room, then neet the friendliest staff. Don't plan on staying there long, you'll soon be called back by the nurse to take your vitals and escort you your assign room. Then nurse will help with filling you personal data, and tge reason(s) why you are seeing the doctor. This helps because he'll read that information before entering the room, which isn't very long either. The doctor enters with a friend smile, going over what you told the nurse, giving the time to give any adfitional information (we all forget sonething). He listens, examines, gives his opinion, then asks for yours or any questions. From there the appropreiate prescriptions, tests needed, and course of action to get you back on the road to your condition.
