Merrimack Medical & Walk In Center

Had to call seven times to get through, was sent to voicemail each time, at one point they even gave me a busy tone with no option to leave a message. Not the first time I’ve dealt with this issue with this office. There are always at least two receptionists there when I’ve gone in to be seen, so not sure as to why phones aren’t getting answered. I get the impression they just don’t want to deal with people. I called to inquire why my PCP was changed through my insurance. Spoke with Christine the practice manager. She was extremely unpleasant, and claimed to have previously contacted me to inform me they would no longer be accepting my health insurance. This was a lie. The doctor's and nurse practitioners are great. The only downside of this place is that when you call for an inquiry, most of the time, the staff don't answer the phone lines. Is very rare that you get a hold of anyone. I had to drive there the other day because they're weren't answering. When I got there, the place was with no patients in the waiting area, and the receptionist was looking at her hands. A prescription that was supposed to be sent last Thursday and never got to the pharmacy until Saturday, and that's because I drove there, when it should have been a simple phone call.

I moved here from Florida and I have many medical issues. Jennifer Anderson treated me with knowledge and compassion. The absolute best experience I have ever had with a provider and office staff. I am thankful for them every single day.

In general my experience has been great! However, Dr. Hunt is my PCP and is absolutely thorough and takes her time with me. The health care experience truly speaks volume. Additionally, I appreciate having Quest Diagnostics on site

My mother and I have been going to Merrimack Medical & Walk In Center for several years. We both have been so impressed by Dr. Hunt and her assistant Shari! They are both very understanding and kind. In addition, Dr. Hunt always follows up with medical concerns and Shari always follows up with phone calls if there are any questions. We are both so grateful to have Dr. Hunt and Shari on our side!
