Merit Technical Institute

I attended Merit in January 2005 and graduated April 2006. I Passed my NCLEX exam with 85 questions on my 1st attempt. The school's curriculum was very well put together. I have no regrets, I was well taught and went on to obtain my RN. Nursing is hard work, you must study. Nursing is art, Science and common sense.

This school don't deserve 1 star first is not. 12 months program more like 2 to 3 years even if you pass all your exams 2nd they purposely failed you so you can pay them $500 to retake the glad they are after your money 3rd they are not accredited by any large nursing organization ACEN, CCNE, COA or ACNM Run away from this school unless if you have money to throw away or you want to waste your time

I do not understand the reason why the state of NJ allow a school like this to stay open. The program is not accredited by ACEN or any major accreditation body. It is an avenue to rip people off their hard earned money and total scam. This school made false advertisement about this duration of the LPN program which suppose to be 12 months but many students are still there after 3 years into the program with no assurance of completion. The instructors and the program administrator intentionally fail students so they can make tons of money from student repeating the course. They refused to review your grades with you and came with the excuse that the school do not review grades which is not written in the student handbook. If you come to play, you’re not going to like merit but if you come to learn, it’s a great place to do LPN program. Great teachers Kingsley Obute , Wonga, Richard , yaw , these people knows their stuff. Thank you merrit.

They give you rn questions for mid term and final and they don't help you. Very rude people
