Merit Hearing

Dr. Jeffrey Shymanski is one of the nicest Audiologist I've ever met. He so dang nice! I have been transferred around town like a rag doll. He took care of my cochlear implant needs from when I step in until the company (MED-EL) sent me a replacement. He tested my hearing equipment and everything. I'd give him more stars, but I guess 5 is max. Awesome doctor!!! 100% recommend if you have any hearing problems. Did I say how nice Dr. Jeffrey Shymanski is? Seriously!!😆

First time needing hearing aids and I was pretty overwhelmed and upset to need them in the first place due to my age. Dr Shymanshi was incredibly, kind, professional, and through. He explained everything in a digestible way. Provided comfort and hope for needing a new assistive device. My overall experience was wonderful and left feeling excited to get hearing aids! Thank you for the wonderful clinic experience.

This is one of the very few in-state providers who tests for Audio Processing Disorder. When I called to schedule a test, the receptionist said I’d have to pay out-of-pocket because “insurance doesn’t cover it.” I said I would check and call back. Mine does. I know because I spent 30 minutes verifying it (Diagnosis H93.25 CPT codes 92620 and 92621). When I called back to make sure the audiologist performing the test was in-network, I was flatly told “we don’t take insurance” for APD testing. “We don’t take insurance” is NOT the same as “insurance doesn’t cover it!”

Dr. Jeff and his staff were excellent. They were able to accommodate a same day appointment. I was in a time crunch, so I was able to get my hearing aids the following day. Dr. Jeff was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was an excellent and pleasurable experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jeff at Merit Hearing!

They where all extremely friendly and able to answer all my questions. The Dr explained everything very clearly and was easy to work with. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing their hearing checked.
