Mercy Health — Deerfield Medical Center

I had been there for my annual physical which is covered by my insurance. Two months later I receive a bill. When I contacted them, I was told that my insurance rejected their claim as it was filed in a different category. I am surprised that a medical facility does not understand how to file a claim. I called them and asked them to resubmit my claim which they never did. I am having to pay from out of my pocket. Surprisingly they billed my insurance only $50 but when they sent me the bill it was $180. That shows how big of a fraud they are.

I had my blood drawn here. Duncan was fantastic! He put me at ease and was so efficient. I am notoriously a really hard case when it comes to blood draws and he got it with no problem the first time.

Was a patient of doctor yakub for years, an amazing endocrinologist, the best I've ever had. She is great and none of the rest of this reflects on her. Had some recent issues with insurance and also I shattered my ankle the day before an appointment, so a few missed appointments. They do not take anything into account. You can't reschedule appointments unless you wanna wait 6-9 months. And any that are rescheduled within so many days are counted against you and you will suddenly be discharged. My most recent one I wasn't able to make (they do not do reminder calls, even if you schedule 6+ months in advance, they used to but suddenly stopped at some point) i called in before the scheduled time, and the lady was rude as can be. An important appointment I need rescheduled and the 35 minutes

I’ve been a patient here for quite some time along with the rest of my family. We all started with dr. Trombley, but I wanted a female doctor, so I switched to dr.Normanyo. I was pleasantly surprised when she called me, herself, today to tell me she had an opening and could move my virtual visit up. She is just so sweet and caring and always goes out her way to take care of me! Trombley has always been a great doctor for my whole family and the practice is getting even better! The nurses are always on point, and are always helpful! We love you all and thank you so much!
