Mercy Emergency Department - Edmond I-35 South

Everyone here has been phenomenal from Nurse Haley C to PA Andrew Wong and the registration staff. My wife and I came up here because I’ve been in severe back pain for days. They treated me and my wife with respect, kindness, empathy, and that’s hard to find in Oklahoma, especially as a lesbian couple. Most places are very nosy and judgmental and we get weird looks. No one did that here. No weird comments or sideways looks. Everyone here was amazing. I want to say again that nurse Haley C needs an award. She is just TOO sweet and helpful and I’m INCREDIBLY grateful to her and everyone else that helped us during our visit. Finally, we were here for less than an hour. That’s unreal. I can highly recommend this ER if you live on the East side of Edmond - The friendliness of all staff, their bed side manner, and the urgency in taking care of my issue I came in for was 5 star. This was the best ER experience I have ever had and with frequent updates through technology of the progress being made towards resolution. Also for the DR that drove from Mercy Main to this location instead of me having to get back in the car then travel to the west side of the metro for a outpatient procedure that took maybe 15 to 20 minutes. This is what taking care of your patient is all about - Thank you Mercy South staff.

Horrible experience every time I went in:/ I had to go several months ago after I suffered seizures. They immediately treated me like I was lying, never ran an eeg. I have since been treated for severe Lyme late stage lyme disease and related variegated seizures. I wrote a different review for doctor Andrew Eaton. Later, I had an asthma attack where my inhalers were misplaced and had to come in via ambulance. The emts were awesome, stuck with me and were appalled at my treatment until they were kicked out. We were literally locked out the back door until a nurse very clearly very upset with us finally walked slowly eyes rolling at us. Came here Sunday night as my son was having a emergency. We walked right in noone in lobby they took us back within a few minutes. We were in and out within 2 hours. I was really impressed with the facility, nurses, doc on call, etc. I would say the only negative is that my son's monitor alarm kept going off for his resting respiration it dropped as low as 0 multiple times and noone ever came in or addressed it.

On Sunday evening, 5/25/25, my husband took me to this facility for a UTI and we could not have had a better experience with every person, detail and time spent here. We recently moved to OK from NV primarily because of severe lack of medical staff in that state. Drs. & Nurses were well trained but the infrastructure and support staff was severely lacking. My experience at this ER department was so above our normal expectations. Without exception, every person we were in contact with were all kind, courteous and knowledgeable of their duties. I was called back before I sat my purse down. The nurse did her assessment and within a couple of minutes, the doctor came in and after his assessment, informed us of what tests and treatment he needed to do and how he’d like to proceed. Withi
