Loved doctor Vannoy and (some) of the nursing staff. Apparently everything is good....until it isn't. Took my 2 year old in for a routine visit and had a nurse named Donika not take measurements, put someone else's in the system, and then try and gaslight me about it. She then gave me a copy of the after visit summary, but for the wrong child. So I had someone else's complete medical history in my hands, and she's in the corner laughing about a HIPPA violation. Office manager was wonderful, but her only real recourse was to escalate to patient relations. Let me tell you, Beverly should NOT be working in a patient facing position, and neither should Julie who is apparently the only person above her. All I wanted was to make sure the other parent got notified about the violation, and that i
While my child was receiving her vaccine shot, I had Ms. Rachel playing on my phone to help distract her. As we were leaving, I overheard the Advanced Medical Assistant name Kinsey ( blond curly hair) who administered the shots say to another coworker of hers, “Ms. Rachel is not valuable right now.” As a mother, I understand how crucial distractions can be during such stressful moments, and I specifically used Ms. Rachel to help keep my child calm during the shots. As a pediatric nurse committed to patient care, I found this comment to be unprofessional. It is vital for all staff members to recognize the importance of their roles in supporting patients, particularly young children who may feel anxious or frightened. This behavior does not align with the ethical standards we uphold in the
The care has always been fantastic with both my son and daughter. When you call to schedule an appointment it can take a bit of waiting on hold, which shouldn't surprise anyone that has dealt with the healthcare industry more than once. We have always felt any concerns we have are taken seriously and our questions are answered without the attitude we have dealt before we came to this Pediatrician's office. The people complaining in other reviews are in for a rude awakening if they leave and go to a different office.
I used to take my kids to this office before Dr. Rohatgi moved to Premier Pediatrics. I was apprehensive to leave due to location and we have been here since my kids were born. I am so happy we followed. Sometimes being somewhere better makes you realize how much better things can be. At Mercy, I do not think I ever called once the last few years where I didn’t wait on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes but most of the time it averaged 15 and longer first thing in the morning. I loved Nurse Ann and Amy on the phone but many of the others seemed rushed and at times could be rude. I do not have this issue at all at Premier and the most I have waited is 3 minutes. I always preferred seeing Dr. Rohatgi but when he was not available I would see the nurse Emily or Maggie who I liked. I on
My children were patients of Dr. Roukoz for five years, and we absolutely loved her. She is a very kind, caring doctor who takes her time, loves to explain things and pass on her knowledge, and doesn’t jump to medication for every little thing. Mercy on the other hand, as a whole, is extremely unprofessional, which is just a kind way to say that their business practices are greedy and just plain shady. I’ve now been taking my girls to a ped through Esse Health and there have been no surprise bills and nobody giving me the run around. Oh, and they answer their phone within seconds. I was honestly pretty crushed to leave Dr. Roukoz. She’s an amazing doctor. If she ever left Mercy I would jump to bring my kids to her again.
