Merakey

Very friendly staff. Four different teams based on where you live. Purple, blue, green, and red. Group days. Each team has different counselors that taylor to specific needs: housing, job, etc. One or more of these see you at your home weekly. If they prescribe you any meds they have a service that delivers to them then to you.

Really not a good experience at all. No one is really there when you need them to be. They tell you they going to do something and never do it. They are a joke. I took them off of my insurance. They was milking it. Call the crisis line and no one answers. They don't call or check on you. I had to be taken to lsu hospital because of an episode.

Merakey sucks. They won't give my shot and it's past due. They kicked me out of group because of a bedbug on my shirt and they denied me transportation because of the bedbug on my shirt. I'm done with Merakey.

NHS provides mental health care to those with persistent and severe mental illness in home and even in rural areas. They help with counseling and medication. We need more funding for services like this!
