If I could give stars to the pediatric nurse and the officers who helped me I would. But my 15 year old daughter I called the ambulance for and rushed to the hospital I had to follow bc we wouldn’t have a way home … they wouldn’t allow me to walk in the emergency room with her it didn’t even take me 5 min to park I went to triage and was told I had to wait out there until she had a room I didn’t wait I went asking the police officers and the ambulance guys so they figured it out for me and got me back there. My daughter had to give permission for me to go back there?? She’s 15 ..not 18 … Absolutely not! The way these people treat you at the front suck completely, they need new staff. Don’t get into the medical field if you can’t treat people with respect and basically laugh at them because

My daughter recently spent five days on 4th Floor South, and I cannot say enough good things about the care she received. Being in the hospital is never easy, but the nurses, techs and doctors here went above and beyond. The compassion shown by the RNs, Techs and doctors made a challenging time much more manageable.Their professionalism, kindness, and quick response times truly stood out. I am so grateful to the entire team for helping her get well. Thank you for all the hard work you do every single day! God Bless You All!

My last visit was one of my longest ever sadly. It seems to have gone downhill over the years when I use to love this place and always felt like I wa in and out within 2 hours or less. I came in with chest pains and sat out front for almost 6 hours before getting a room.

I was terrified of the level of care my grandfather would receive when we received the call that he was transported to Belleville memorial. Past experiences have been less than great with my grandmother. The 2 male ICU nurses named Max and I’m not totally sure but I think his name is Matt are absolutely amazing. Very dedicated, compassionate and committed to caring for patients. I didn’t get the opportunity to speak to (maybe Matt) much but max is great. He’s patient and willing to take the time to answer questions and explain things to avoid possible misunderstandings. If every nurse/medical professional had 1/2 of the amount of compassion these 2 do, the world would be a better place and families would be way less concerned about leaving their loved ones in the care of someone else. ER Dept. was about traumatizing. The pain i was in and the lack of empathy from most of the staff was agonizing; however, once admitted, EVERYONE was all i could ask for! The Techs were so kind and helpful, the nurses were empathetic, quick and thorough, and the Dr. was on point. **** I definitely want to mention, that while in the ER, i explained multiple times that i had JUST been told that i have a cancerous cyst in my pancreas. When i asked one of the nurses who came in if my symptoms could have anything to do with my pancreas, and she returned with, something close to, 'its just a cyst'. Had i not already known about my circumstances, after that, i defintely wouldn't have looked further into it, and thats concerning. All in all, i give it a 4 because the doctors took their time and, o
