Customer Reviews
Waiting time suxs but cannot control people's/individuals sercumstances. - the staff was great from intake, assessment, x rays, hospitality. Still waiting to go upstairs but we understand it isn't just us using these great services provided by the personnel at Memorial Herman Memorial city. A+ customer service, needed some pillows for my brother and they accommodated as best and timely as they could. Note: my brother is a quadriplegic and they helped transfer him from chair to beds as needed.
I have 2 herniated disks. Brought in by ems because wife was out of town. I begged ems not to take me to this hospital! This hospital would NOT order CT scans for multiple recurring back issues with numbness to the distill extremely. Doctor said, 'i think your symptoms are neurological' then discharged me 20 minutes later with 0 tests. Fast forward 11 months later. Another hospital immediately ordered a CT and found 2 herniated disks with 3 nerve root impingements. Today, a nurse walked into my room after pushing a liter of saline and says I'm discharged, scripts are sent to your pharmacy, places my paperwork on the counter, unhooks my IV and walks out. I just had 1 liter NS. I have to pee. So I walk very slowly bracing myself on the walls of the hall to the bathroom. I walk the same way
As of today, August 30, 2025, at 1:43 AM, I am writing this review to document my experience at Memorial Hermann – Memorial City, Gassner Emergency Center. My fiancé and I arrived at 7:00 PM on August 29, 2025. It is now 6 hours and 43 minutes later, and we still have not been seen by a physician in the emergency department. This delay raises serious concerns about potential violations of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act), which requires hospitals to provide a timely medical screening and stabilizing treatment regardless of insurance or financial status. What I witnessed tonight was not just a long wait, but what appears to be systemic negligence in how patients are handled. During this time, I observed a front desk receptionist/manager repeatedly scrolling through her p
If this is the closest Emergency Room to you, save yourself the time and patience and think about going somewhere that would thoroughly check you out, take care of you and you walk out healthy and satisfied. Would give a 0 star if that were even an option. I had to take my 9 mo baby here because it was the closest emergency room near me. My baby was visibly limp and pale/ blue registering in but had to be throwing up and me asking for help, after 20-30 min in the waiting room, just for his vitals to be checked. They opened the door and I thought they were going to take him AND HELP but the doctor had the audacity to tell me to calm down and made me back up. I waited too long in the waiting room just for them to tell me there was nothing they could do but for me to monitor, but I knew there
Poor customer service and poor. patient care. The young girls at the front desk windows are very rude. They are playing and laughing and dancing around behind the glass. Patients are in pain. Trying to ask questions and they seem to be annoyed that they are being bothered. I don't know how they don't put a manager or supervisor up front with them to get them to be professional and do their job. If they don't like their job they need to leave because this is a place to save lives and the I don't care attitude is the worse to witness. I even seen that a man was in so much pain. He was on his knees balled up and the officer is the one who brought him a chair to sit and the girls behind the windows just looked and laughed. I hope someone actually reads these reviews or checks cameras and
