Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute-Southwest

I wanted to thank everyone who worked with me at the institute. Special shout outs to Dr. Randhawa who did my procedure, Carolina my first nurse, Mario the director of the cath lab, who personally put pressure on my leg to relieve my afternoon nurse Heather, while she helped others during a very busy time. Lastly to Heather who spent the majority of the day and early evening taking great care of me . These people were genuine, kind and caring. I am so grateful to you all !

The doctors and staff do great work here. Top notch. Management is another story. Wait time was eternal to get the procedure done to begin with. And on top of it they charge you to park as well. Obvious that management cares about profit over people. Small item but really classless for a hospital while loved ones are being treated

First off, I have to say that the care my son has received has been first class. We are so pleased with his care team. However, the ONLY waiting room was overwhelmed by 20-30 family members of a single patient. Face-timing, watching videos, praying loudly. Occupying every available seat. Incredibly inconsiderate with zero situational awareness. Hard to believe this hospital has no policy in place to ensure each family has a place to wait for updates on their family member.

The nurses in the recovery room were amazing, the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. The surgical staff were unprofessional and did not provide the level of care I expected. I would never come here for a procedure again and am currently looking for another provider.

I came here for two procedures and both times, the staff was very friendly, very professional, and very respectful. I would recommend it to anyone.
