Not sure if I came during a good non-busy time, but my ultrasound experience here was mostly good. I have gotten two breast ultrasounds here now in the span of three years. The first time I got double-charged due to MD Anderson also being here and one of their doctors saw me, but I did not understand until after my appointment. The second time I had no issues, was seen by Memorial Hermann employees only, and was treated well.
My mom scheduled her appointment for her mammogram screening as ORDERED BY HER GYNECOLOGIST and she checked in and waited to be called. She waited 30 minutes only to be told that she can’t have it done today based on her history and needs to come back for a diagnostic mammogram. They should have looked at her records BEFORE her appointment and notified her beforehand. Instead, she wasted her morning driving there and waiting. This is extremely unprofessional.
My wife was scheduled at 8:40am. Due to our circumstances, we knew we would arrive 5-10 minutes late so we called them ahead of time to let them know at 8:00am. The spokesperson informed us that they could reschedule us to 9:00am instead of 8:40am. However, when we arrived at 8:50am, Natalie told us that we were late to our “8:40am appointment”. We told her that our appointment is 9:00am and it was no longer 8:40am and she shrugged her shoulders and said “I’m not sure who you talked to but it wasn’t me” she then told us that she needed to check with her radiologist if it’s okay for us to be seen and she blatantly lied in front of us and told the radiologist that we arrived at 8:55am. That’s 5 minutes extra that she added and misinformed her radiologist so that we can be turned away due to
Been here last year, the nurse was nice, front desk help were nice as well and the wait wasnt terribly long for a hospital. Doctor was pretty rough and rushy but i guess u have to be like that for a male doctor doing a breast checkup on a woman. Im going soon again to this location and will see if anything changed. Those 1 stat reviews i see are soo pathetically exagerated lol. If you want to see long wait times go to the emergency room, waited 5hrs one time just to be seen. Edit: Just went in for routine checkup on 23 JAN and everyone was really nice and warm, from the kind desk lady that helped with utmost patience my confused self, to the nurse that has been so nice and warm with me while i got my ultrasound done. Worst customer service ever! I have been to this location twice, bad experience both times. Returned to pick up medical records and waited 30 mins. I asked if I could request them ahead of arrival to minimize wait time, but of course they said no. After 15 mins you have to pay for parking, so they take their sweet time and won’t even validate your parking. While I was waiting I heard every woman who had an appointment complaining because they supplied their insurance info prior to the appointment, but Memorial Hermann didn’t have it in the patient’s account. Just waisting everyone’s time! I will never return for breast imaging.
