Memorial Healthcare System

My wife was just moved from ICU to a regular room if you want to call it that. It a joined room and the curtain does not close . She has no privacy what so ever. She can not have anything over her chest so she is exposed to all tgat come in to the other person's room or anyone walking outside the room. The charge nurse taped the curtains to the wall to try and keep it closed. No room for a chair let alone the recliner they have on the other side of the curtain in the common area. Extremely unacceptable.

Healthcare is really changing! It seems pay source is more important than providing healthcare. My son went into Memorial Hospital West Emergency Department and was confirmed to have a torn Achilles. He was treated unprofessionally, carelessly by everyone from Md. Katz Chief Doctor of Medical ED to Clinical Manager Cindy who assured us she would assist with getting “outpatient” follow up which she failed to answer our numerous calls the day after, up to a week after. Where are we to go if we cannot get treated at a hospital when one is injured? Extremely disappointed in this hospital!!

This is words ER that ever been. They do not care about sick people. They put you in the hallway, and you have no privacy. Everyone passes by and looks, but no one solves any problems. They don't have the slightest respect for sick . Where are your rights as a patient to not have your data disclosed? So many people walking around for nothing.

This hospital has fraudulently billed my insurance for someone’s 11 day stay even though I’ve never been there. I’m now dealing with a huge headache to get this resolved. They admitted that the patient information didn’t fully match me but they billed it to me anyway. Absolutely appalling! Not to mention the HIPAA violations from me getting all of this other person’s medical information. If they are this careless with their billing and patient privacy, who knows what other things they are doing….

Honestly I love coming to this place . The nurses are so caring and comforting. The one nurse called Alexsis she’s been there for 50 years only works Friday and Saturday she was the best I’ve ever had in any hospital. She really seems so actually care about our health and doesn’t get upset. She talks about God and you don’t hear that much with doctors and I just love her and god bless her overall this hospital loves you. Lol most doctors only care about money
