Really terrible experience with MCC. My dad was sent here after discharge from the hospital for a bladder infection. He was supposed to receive short term care that included PT and OT so he could regain the strength he'd lost during his hospital stay and return home. His first day there was two day before Christmas so it was understandable that nothing was done right away. However, nothing was done the following week either. He was not evaluated for PT and OT and did not get a treatment plan. He was walked down to the PT room to a 10-15 minute workout that was too much for him. There was never a care team meeting or discharge date. He was evaluated by a social worker who determined he had severe dementia while also admitting they weren't fully sure why he was there. My mom was at MCC in March of 2025 and I do not want to share my mom's complete experience/information but I do want to warn people that I would NOT under any circumstances send yourself or a loved one here! They are especially not equipped to deal with older people. I do not understand how they have the rating that they do. I do not have the money or the time to fight them in court, and because my mom did not pass while there it would be hard to prove she died of their neglect but she was gone within 5 months of leaving there (which that was a whole other story, getting her out of there) and let me tell you for certain that they sent her down the path to her passing. DO NOT PUT YOUR ELDERLY LOVED ONES IN THIS FACILITY IF THEY NEED ANY ASSISTANCE! I didnt read reviews before we put our loved one there and honestly may have even thought they were isolated incidents. They are not. After reading basically our situation so similar to Ocean Girl I could not sleep with thinking about others going thru what we went thru. While the reason our loved one was there was different from hers- the lack of attention from the staff was the SAME. Our mother went in right before Christmas and it was like she didnt exist. I have recently had two stays at Memorial Care Center. Both stays, I had excellent care with very caring, and competent nurses and aides. They were so kind, they soon became friends. The physical and occupational therapists were also great. The food was great. If I am ever in need of skilled nursing care, I will always seek to return there!

I was a patient here and the care provided was amazing. The nursing team made sure all my medications were given appropriately and I bounced back quicker than I was originally supposed to.
