Meijer Pharmacy

RUDE Tech working on November 17, 2025 around closing time. I’ve NEVER had a problem with this pharmacy, medication wise, in the decade plus I’ve been going there. That day, I was picking up my son‘s seizure related medicine. He was showing signs of another and at that point, would most likely be admitted into the hospital. With that, I would not have time to come back and get MY medication. It wasn’t filled yet despite their app saying it was scheduled to be filled that day. I get there around closing and ask for it. Well, this simple request was not reasonable to the rude tech. ???? She refused to fill it while at the same time telling me over and over again, she would only do it a day early. I kept trying to calmly tell her it WAS only a day early. At that point, it was not even a day a

I love this pharmacy only because of the staff. Meijer corporate installed a new pharmacy system that is almost impossible to use..I'm very tech savvy and it is certainly not as user friendly as their previous app. Other than that the staff rocks!!!

Last week on Friday (5/23) I tried picking up a prescription for a controlled substance. They told me that I needed to return my previous prescription before they could release that one to me. That’s fine. But this employee said it over and over again and they asked me if I was going to come back with the old prescription multiple times in which I responded “yes” multiple times. I was under the assumption she would hold that prescription for me until I could come back and I told her it wouldn’t be until Tuesday (5/27) because of the holiday. I go back today to pick up the prescription and give them my old one and they tell me it was put back and now the medication is on manufacturer back order and they don’t have it anymore. Very nice staff. Usually very friendly except for one. But there is one in every crowd.

Yeah so overall, it's a pretty good pharmacy I guess. But there automated system is absolutely junk. They will send you endless texts saying they need you to call them for which they will then not know why, then you will agree that sure, I'll just pick up my medicines tomorrow, which they then may send you a text around 9 am saying it's ready and then you may get there and be told to wait for a lil longer.... And then after that, with having 2 insurances, you may be asked to pay 42$. Lol do better Meijer your kind of a joke
