MedStar Union Memorial Hospital

The last time I was there, it was fantastic. Despite my dislike of needles, Dr. Day and her wonderful associates, Linda and Donna, make me feel comfortable. I'll visit Union Memorial every time I get a mammogram. I would like to express my gratitude to the professional team and apologize if I have forgotten the names of the women who helped Dr. Day. They always have a warm and inviting demeanor. I'm grateful! Thanks so much!

I just had my 2nd heart surgery with Dr. Meininger and his team. He is always very professional and pleasant ... and takes the time to provide and discuss important details about the procedure while answering all questions in a genuine and thorough manner. He also researches and implements the most current and effective treatment processes available and provides excellent post surgical care and followup. I recommend him 100%.

Friendly and efficient staff. Back surgery went well with minimum pain post surgery. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Bathroom was not well cleaned in 3 days. Commode leg had hard brown on it which we were told was rust but wiped off with a bit of rubbing. When checking in sheets on gurney were stained or dirty. Third set appeared clean.

On March 4 , I had a PF Ablation done by Dr. Meininger . Every thing went well and he was very informant before the surgery and even after. The nursing staff was very accommodating with the prep work and after the surgery during the rest period. Rod was very good also. I would have no problem coming back if needed and would highly recommend Union Memorial based on my past experience. T Y

Doctors are excellent, nurses and attending staff are kind, considerate, caring, and extremely competent. Met all my needs. Made me feel comfortable and safe. Meals were delicious and kitchen staff responded to all my dietary needs very quickly. Union Memorial is a first-class hospital and has an excellent orthopedic team that makes the patient feel safe and well cared for.
