I would like to speak specifically on my experience with the Radiology department. I am in a very fragile state of mind with my concerns and the two ladies who took care of me that day were SO kind and comforting. I kick myself for not remembering the sweet lady who took my mammogram but she has been doing it for 30 years and talked me through the whole thing. She could tell when my anxiety got to me and kept me very calm. Gave me comforting statistics and gave me her own positive story. Next was the Ultrasound tech, her name was Nina. She was just a ray of sunshine. I was in better spirits after dealing with the mammogram tech and Nina came in just as positive. The phone connection and phone answering system can leave one completely baffled. My wife called multiple times, with no response. Then she received a weird Verizon message. I tried calling and received the same Verizon response. I called the publicly listed number the hospital posted on Google, a very nice person answered and left me with the impression this is not an uncommon occurrence? She transfered me to the preop telephone. 3 minutes and 28vseconds later I was disconnected. I called the hospital again, the same nice person answered, and apologized and tried to connect me again. This time 3 minutes, 45 seconds later after dead silence I was hung up on or disconnected again. Not a great public image of the preoperative team as a group.

The staff were fast and friendly!
