MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Perry Hall

They were very prompt, and very thorough. I’m in my 60s, and what I went there for I’ve never seen, or had that issue before. It was pretty concerning! If I could remember the doctor‘s name, I’d give her a whole bunch of kudos!! Although I still have the issue, It’s improving every day. The ladies at the check-in were also great! I would highly recommend going here to anyone!! Especially when you can make an appointment online!! I love it!!!

Friendly, helpful, clean. I was a walk-in. It took a while to be seen because it was a really busy. Though not a large place there was enough seating for the amount of people they expect to service in a given day. It appeared that those who have appointments are seen more or less at their times. They also seem to weave in the walk-ins according to their arrival times efficiently. There's a monitor to inform you where you are in relation to being seen by your initials.When I got seen for pre-op testing it went pretty quickly.

I took my son in for a sick visit after being sick all week with a different illness. Every single person I encountered today was so kind, pleasant, and went above and beyond. I didn’t get names because I’m exhausted and completely forgot but truly everyone was amazing. It was the most pleasant experience we could have had in the circumstances and I applaud everyone working at Medstar prompt care Perry hall today 1/18/26. Your care and compassion made a world of difference for this tired mama!

The staff were great, keeping me informed of the process to have me ultimately seen. I noticed, even though there were many patients, the "line" was moving very efficiently and quickly. My wait was only ~ 20 minutes and if I would have reserved online like my wife suggested, I would not had to wait. The staff asked that question for everyone, "walk in or reservation". And my attending CRNP was great, gave me more than enough information to make sure I was taken care of, confirmed my scripts were already ready for me at my local pharmacy, gave me adequate work excuse notes also.

It was my first time to the clinic, so I knew it could get tedious with forms. The form was actually quite simple and they set me up quickly And we’re very kind. They got me back into a room quickly and I was seen an In-N-Out and a reasonable amount amount of time considering I had to get a chest x-ray, prescription called in, etc. My caretaker was very nice and knowledgeable and gave insights along the way, which were helpful. I’m definitely planning on going back the next time. I need urgent care.
