MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Federal Hill

It's my first time visiting this Urgent Care Center. The sign-in and registration are all done through apps on the phone. I'm a senior and fortunate to know how to navigate the system electronically. It's paperless and a good system. The staff and the doctor who treated me are very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and convenient. I would recommend it to everyone. The waiting time is not bad compared with other facilities.

UPDATE: Medstar reached out to me several times after the review. They were open to feedback and provided insight into the evaluation and intake process., It was easy to make an appointment, the wait time was not bad and staff was friendly. But Once i was seen they were pretty quick to tell me to go to the ER with very little of an exam. That would be fine if that meant when you went to the ER that you were also seen as a priority. Instead you wait for hours and hours because they’re all over capacity. I think they should of at least done the blood tests to help diagnose or treat faster at the hospital or any other way for a warm transfer.

The staff at this Urgent care are professional, attentive and caring. You're not just another number. They are genuinely concerned about how you are feeling and coming up with a solution. I highly recommend this location. Be prepared for wait time even if you have an appointment in the waiting area and exam room.

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Went in for a strep test. The process itself was seamless and the nurses and PA were very nice and supportive. However, the wait time was extremely long, even for an urgent care. Waited for almost an hour for the PA once in the exam room. I’m sure they’re short staffed, like healthcare providers everywhere, and there was a patient ahead with a laceration, but the wait time is still too long.

Best service that I have ever received at an urgent care facility. I was in and out in an hour and I received a chest x-ray, covid and flu test. I would highly recommend this center for your urgent care needs.
