Locally owned pharmacy. Stocks basic need items like hygiene and first aid. Competitively priced supplements and OTC meds. Super nice folks behind the counter. It's small but stocks pretty much everything that an old-school drug store would have.

Independently Owned, now that that is clear (and very important) ... this is the best place in Rutherfordton to get your prescriptions filled! Staff are friendly and always willing to help! The store has canes, walkers, diabetic shoes, etc. There's a section of $1.25 items, and they even have reading glasses for $1.00 each, and they sell pretty quickly. A card section, drink cooler, and of course things like cold medicines, acetaminophen, and Ibuprofen. If you need to wait whilst your prescription(s) are being filled, it doesn't take long like at all the big pharmacies! I moved to Rutherfordton a little over a year ago, and I'm so glad I chose Medicine Box for my monthly prescription fills! You will too!

CVS was out of stock on a new medication i needed so I called around and Medicine Box was the only place that had it. The pharmacist and cashier were so nice and friendly! I'll definitely go back again if I need anything.
