Medical City ER Garland

After 4 emergency room visits to Medical City garland, I finally just gave in and went to Medical City dallas. That should have been my first choice. A lot more resources and they really did take good care of me. I was in the hospital from the 7th through the 12th and the nurses and staff really put me at ease and were amazing. I got the help I needed, thank you so very much.

I had to come in to get staples in my head. They were so quick to attend me. They were very nice and efficient. I was so happy to be in and out quickly! And then had to go back to get them removed 10 days later and they were very quick about that one. Amazing staff all around even the security guard!

Brought my mom in for an xray in fear she broke something in her neck/shoulder. Everyone was so nice, they got her fixed right up and we were out the door in about an hour! So much better than going to the big emergency rooms, I’m very relieved to know we have a better option for future medical issues. Thanks for taking such good care of my mom, we appreciate every one of you who made this as painless and pleasant as it could be :)

We came to this freestanding ER after my son experienced a seizure. The building has “Children’s” on the side, so we assumed they would be equipped to handle pediatric emergencies—especially since they were the closest ER to us at the time. When we arrived, there was no nurse or triage staff at the front, only a security guard. I walked in holding my son, and the guard simply looked at us before going to find someone. Once we were finally seen, we were told that they don’t typically treat children and that they would need to look up what they thought it might be. We were then transferred to another hospital. Staff told us that since we were being moved from one Medical City facility to another, we wouldn’t be charged for the ambulance ride. However, we later received a bill in the mail.

Today My daughter injured herself playing basketball. We brought her here to receive care. The entire staff was wonderful. From the security guy, firefighter/ EMT, nurse, doctor and x ray tech. 😊 They were all very friendly kept checking up on their patient ( my daughter) the entire time we were there. I highly recommend this hospital if you are seeking friendly thorough, gentle care. Thank y'all so much for having my daughter's er experience be comforting and safe.
