Medical City Denton

I came in around 4:30 a.m. with a gallbladder attack and was very impressed with how quickly and efficiently I was cared for. I was evaluated, received pain medication, had labs and an ultrasound completed, received my results and discharged all within about an hr and some change! My nurse, Mary, was exceptional. She was kind, attentive, and very understanding. I had my son’s field trip later that morning, and she made sure to stay on top of everything and keep me informed so I could get home in time. Her compassion and professionalism made a very stressful experience much easier. I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received from everyone involved—from the physicians to the sonographer and nursing staff!

Spent 8 days in this hospital. Went through a procedure, and a three hour surgery and many tests. Every person I came in contact with made me feel like they were there just to serve me and my needs. The building is clean, the Doctors and staff are motivated and knowledgable and are just some of the nicest people around. I highly recommend Medical City Denton.

I got to the ER yesterday at about 8:30am. I was checked in & got directly to a in ER room to be seen. I had acute appendicitis, & was in surgery by 12:30pm. The staff has all been so wonderful & AMAZING. The nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist, & patien care techs, have all been amazing. They are all very kind, caring, compassionate, professional & thorough. The nurses I would like to recognize so far, are: Brooke - ER nurse Lauren - pre-op nurse Mary - post surgery nurse Mary Beth - post surgery nurse 2 NE Medical Surgical Floor nurses/PCA Edwin - wasn't even my nurse, but still took his time out of what he was doing to help me get the medication I needed needed CHUCK - has been my nurse from 7pm-7:30am - EXCEPTIONAL nurse!! Great bedside manner. Kind. Caring. Listens intentionally. C

am writing to formally express concerns regarding my evaluation at your hospital. I presented to the emergency department with significant leg swelling and severe pain. Due to the severity of my symptoms, a CT scan with contrast was performed. I was told that “everything looked fine” and was discharged without further explanation. However, after reviewing my own imaging report later, I discovered that a hernia related to my prior C-section had been noted. This finding was never verbally discussed with me during my visit. My symptoms persisted for months — including major swelling, discoloration, firmness, and pain in my legs. Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the doors to discharge. Candy in admissions greeted us with a warm smile at 6:30am! All of the nurses (in surgery and 5th floor) were kind, attentive and informative. Food was great. Doctors were great. Couldn’t be happier with the care received.
