Medical Center Pharmacy Inc of Hickory

I have been using Medical Center Pharmacy for almost 25 years now. William “Bill” Means, is the President of Medical Center Pharmacy Inc. & Bill is also the head pharmacist; Bill, is also the second generation of ownership with his family owned pharmaceutical business and Bill was the first person i met at Medical Center Pharmacy. The first time i met Bill he was kind, he was genuine, he was attentive when listening to me tell him about my background and medical conditions, he was also attentive with my questions and my concerns, he was very understanding, he was extremely thoughtful- being sympathetic as well as empathetic when it came to my health problems and explaining my background when it came to the medical conditions i was already diagnosed with and why i was on certain medication

We have had the unfortunate need to visit multiple pharmacies over the past few days for multiple of our family. Due to travel and holidays we've had to visit Walgreens, CVS and thankfully the final visit to our home pharmacy Medical Center. Let me just say the Mega Pharmacys are JUNK compared to Medical Center. This mornings visit was for our daughter fighting the same head cold/ear issues as both mom and dad. We visited the Doc, went straight to the pharmacy where they were finishing up her meds less than 10 minutes after we left the Doc. In comparison to both CVS and Walgreens who both told us we were more than 50 prescriptions in line and would need to wait for an hour. Walked in to the pharmacy Matthew greeted me like an old friend and had real concern and compassion for us, finished

I would go here again as a last resort. Staff lack a sense of concern and urgency. I was waiting for the staff member to finish serving the person in front of me, so I could ask a question regarding a medical item. The staff member ignored me and instead assisted someone else. This patron started discussing last nights events with another staff member who was standing around in the pharmacy area. The staff member who assisted the other patron enquired as to whether I was waiting for a pick up. I shook my head and said no. There was no response, and no apology for skipping me- there wasn’t even an ..I’ll be right with you!! Lacking accountability for her mistake- she didn’t make eye contact and then assisted someone else. Finally, the staff member looked at me. Which I guess meant she w

They are always so sweet and kind to me. And always talk to my kids everytime they are with me. Definitely a great place to go

They are polite. Staff is great. I am so glad they are my pharmacy.
