Medical Center of Marin - San Rafael

It is easy to get an appointment. Arrived there 10 mins before the schedule and there is not queue. I fill up the form and proceeded for TB test. The staffs are friendly and accommodating.

Was 10 minutes early. Was seen in a reasonable time. Doctor performed RSV and Covid test, negative and concluded I have a cold not an infection and sent me on my way. They did not discuss billing or cost, which I inquired about. She said I did test positive for a cold. Rest and tea. I thought the doctor made a judgement call that I have a cold and not an infection. We will see if it clears up. It was very busy due to the holidays. With the new insurance rates in effect, I wish there was more transparency about billing!

Very dissatisfied. Rushed, receptionist, medical assistant and P.A. Unpleasant. Took half an hour for PA Melody to even walk in to tell me there was nothing she could do”test” me for. When I said I might need an X ray she said they were only done in Novato. She then said she could do an exam first before sending me to Novato. But when she told me she.needed to see another patient first, I left. It was a waste of time leaving me feeling even worse. Don’t waste your time. Go elsewhere.

All of the staff and the doctor was so nice and caring and really made me feel like family! I literally waited maybe 5-10 minutes and the prescription was called in immediately! I highly recommend this Urgent Care. Thank you very much, I'm feeling better already! ❤️

I would like to acknowledge your NP that cared for me on my visit to your urgent care.  Melodie was very professional and kind and extremely helpful in trying to diagnose my issue.  I feel like she went above and beyond in trying to reach my doctor in Florida and her attending. Melodie followed up with me that afternoon after she had instructed me to go to Marin Medial Center ER, which I did based on her advice. She even followed up with me the next day to see how I was doing.  I think she is a tremendous asset to your medical institution
