MedExpress Urgent Care

I had an experience that was nothing less than stellar, I went there on sunday afternoon. The young lady at the front desk gave top tier customer service. I believe the young lady that assisted with my drug screen names was Ann. She was super cool, and just made the entire process smooth. The provider that did my physical was very nice and professional. They did a great job in making the process smooth. I can say that they are way better than Patient First which is always chaotic. Anywhoo they were impressive!

The PA I saw was great. I was pretty much taken in at the time of my appointment. All was well until I asked to have my medication for severe back. Pain spasm sent to another pharmacy. I waited all day called twice, and they assured me and went to the new one finally sent.. Finally had to go back there and I had not been sent to the right pharmacy. Once that was done, it finally went to the right place. It’s not that they sent it to the wrong place. It’s that they told me it was every time I called.. That was the only negative part of the visit.

Very clean and professional and friendly staff. Wait time was remarkable as I checked in and 15 mins later I was called to be taken back to be seen. Ex-rays done on premises and everything was quick. Doctor came in gave me my results and sent medications to authorize pharmacy. I would highly recommend as I will be going back!

I don't have a primary doctor in Richmond as I am a resident of FL. I was able to make a same day appointment at MedExpress. I was feeling very poorly and was afraid I had RSV. The front desk clerk checking me in was very kind and empathetic. I did not have to wait long to go back, and the nurse who was assigned to me was also very kind. She drew tests swabs and put me in an exam room. Very quickly, the NP was in with me, gave me a diagnosis, and had me checking out. I appreciate the staff in how kind they were and how professional they were. Thank you!

Paid a $75 copay for nothing. Went feeling really bad, and left with not even a recommended medicine. I am breastfeeding and the medicine they were going to prescribe me wasn't breastfeeding friendly. I called because they didn’t send anything to my pharmacy and they told me I wasn’t going to get anything. They didn’t even tell me to take Tylenol or any medicine. Got tested for Covid even though I already told them I was negative (I took a test a day before). Would not come back to this urgent care. The lady in the front and the nurse were very nice though.
