MedExpress Urgent Care

Went in for a broken hand so I’m obviously in pain and a bit agitated. Everything was going smoothly until the nurse took my vitals and used a slur to describe how slow the bp machine was going. Not only is that offensive in a normal setting but in your workplace that’s completely unacceptable. I said something to her and she did apologize but it’s still very upsetting.

Went in because I don't have a pcp yet. Needed a rx for some BP meds. Low dose and just some atenolol to get me by and not have a stroke until I get a pcp. The APN Darlene Lowman told me to not come back that she wouldn't refill a BP rx. I asked, even if it's on a Saturday and pcp is closed or I have an "urgent" situation? (Urgent care) , and she said no. That's literally what this place is supposed to be, an urgent care that's not an emergency room, for those who need medical care but does not have a pcp or they are closed due to weekend etc. I was blown away at how unprofessional she was and rude to me for simply paying $190 dollars for the office visit to ask for a month rx of BP pills. I wasn't asking for narcotics, benzos, or controlled substances. Just something to keep me from

Friendly staff, not a long wait time, and they explained everything before they did it. Christine Miles had amazing bedside manner and made us feel very comfortable. She explained things, but wasn’t condescending. The front desk lady who helped was just a gem. I called before I even went up there to make sure they could provide the service I was looking for. She spoke with the provider and reassured me. I love our MedExpress in Cabot and highly recommend them.

The staff was friendly, helpful. They were busy with many who are suffering with same seasonal sinus crud I have, so I couldn't just walk in. They made an appointment for me 3 hours later which really wasn't bad. Next time I'll schedule an appt on their site. I came back and went right in to see the doc. She listened, asked questions, checked me out and discussed medicine options. A nice nurse gave me a steroid shot that I barely even felt. She does a pinch and poke method. So far, I've taken 2 of my antibiotics and 1 decongestant and I feel much better. Get the shot if it's an option. I'll definitely return to this clinic.

The staff at MedExpress is SO caring and kind. I have gotten in and out within 30 minutes in my last two visits. I’ve also had to bring my toddler with me, and they were so accommodating. My toddler actually isn’t afraid of going to the doctor because of her experiences here. I will never go anywhere else!
