Medex Urgent Care

Brought my husband in this (Sunday) morning for sudden knee pain and swelling. We walked in at 9:05AM and walked out at 10:05AM. Check in was fast and efficient. We were called back in less than 15 minutes (someone who arrived after us had used the "Save my spot" feature and was taken back before him, so something to keep in mind!). Eugene came in, felt his knee and said there was a lot of fluid there. He was given an xray and confirmed it was fluid due to arthritis. We also met Lisa, who confirmed same. Eugene was able to drain 3 oz of fluid from my husband's knee. Everyone was very nice. Great experience. Will absolutely return for future medical needs.

It was fast and my copay was only $15, but I'm not super satisfied with my care. I explained my symptoms and they did a covid/flu test, listened to my breathing to rule out pnuemonia. Dr said i had to go to the er for a cat scan because I was having pressure in my head. I thought it seemed a bit extreme and so did the ER. ER diagnosed me with a sinus infection and prescribed me an antibiotic and some nasal spray. Probably could have saved time and money if Medex realized it was just a sinus infection. I feel better after being given some medication from the er. It wasn't the worst urgent care experience, but it felt a bit rushed and the dr was a little rude. They did prescribe me some medication for my symptoms though.

I had a really great experience at Medex Urgent Care. The staff was super friendly and I didn’t have to wait long at all! The doctor was awesome—really took the time to explain what was going on and made sure I knew what to do next. Everyone there was kind, professional, and made the whole visit a good experience. The place was clean, organized, and just had a good vibe overall. Definitely recommend if you need urgent care without the hassle. I’ll definitely go back if I ever need to!
