MedCove Urgent Care

What’s the point of making an appointment when they still had us waiting for more than two hours. If I didn’t already pay my copayment I would have never waited. This is my first and last time.at this urgent care. I will never return. They need to do better.

I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care. I made an appointment for 3:00 PM, but I was not seen until after 5:00 PM. After waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time, I asked the front desk for an estimated wait time and was told it would be another 45 minutes. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I ultimately waited an additional 1 hour and 20 minutes beyond that estimate. If appointments are not honored anywhere near the scheduled time, patients should be informed in advance so they can plan accordingly. Additionally, the front desk staff were rude and inattentive. At one point, I was standing directly at the counter while the receptionists saw me and chose to ignore me. It made the situation even more frustrating and unprofessional.

Went in for possible ear infection/ sinus problems and came out much better. Dolly was very efficient and her bed side manner was great! Aurelio was awesome. Very patient and so professional during the whole process. I was very impressed with the whole process!

Our experience at MedCove was terrible. I brought my elderly mother in after she developed a cough. I made an appointment and, to their credit, we were seen within about 30 minutes of arriving. Unfortunately, things went downhill almost immediately. The medical provider called her name and we followed them into the exam area. The first thing I noticed was that they never introduced themselves, and their demeanor was noticeably unfriendly. Perhaps it had been a long day — I understand that — but professionalism still matters. When we entered the exam room, it was extremely cold. While I understand exam rooms are often kept cool and that it was an unusually hot January day, this room was particularly cold. I’m not one to go see doctors. After 6 months of trying to take care of my issue on my own. It was time to see a doctor. Went in and she told me to do the same thing I’ve been doing for the last 6 months that had no outcome. I was hoping for some antibiotics. She said nope and prescribe the same over the counter meds. Was told if after 2 weeks it doesnt get better see a dermatologist…. So paid 125 out of pocket for absolutely nothing… for those living paycheck to paycheck with no insurance this was devastating.
