Last week, I purchased a basic Zojirushi rice cooker for my mother. After bringing it home and reading the instructions, I realized that the cooker needs to be unplugged when not in use. I found this to be inconvenient for my mother. Therefore, I called the store today to inquire whether they would allow an exchange for a different model. The woman who answered the phone expressed confusion and said, "I don't really understand what you mean; please bring the cooker in." When I arrived at the store with the rice cooker, I explained to a staff member named Ting that I had purchased the cooker when Amy was working.
