Medac Urgent Care - Shipyard

I was blown away how nice, quick, professional the whole staff was: the receptionist, the tall male nurse and the slim female PA ! All terrific! I felt very welcome. Great experience. (Sorry I don’t remember the names!)

Showed up at 630 with an injured 13 year old from playing football. We were seen before closing at 8 p.m. My son got X-rays . They were reviewed by the Radiologist. He left on crutches and with an ace bandage on his wrist. We walked out at 8:46 way past closing time. I thanked them multiple times because we were the last patients in the building. So grateful for urgent care. This is the only urgent care I bring my kids too. Never have I had a bad experience.

I am regularly impressed with how thorough and understanding the physicians are at this location. I’ve never had difficulty getting in to see someone quickly, and I’m always treated with respect. A absolutely great place.

Dr Collins is amazing! The staff is always very nice, they take the time to explain your diagnosis and best treatment. You never feel rushed. I make a 25- 30 minute drive to come to this particular Urgent Care. There is usually never a long wait before being seen and you can “save your spot “ by doing a brief online form 😊

I visited the Medac Urgent Care - Shipyard on 10/21/2025 and was very pleased. My wait time was short , the nurse who checked me in was very personable, knowledgable and listeded to my needs. Likewise the doctor who treated me ,and I failed to get her name ,was timely, listened to my needs and prescribed the necessary meds for me. We have used this facility several times over the last few years due to the fact that we cannot get in to see our primary doctors and we have consistently been pleased with the care that we received each time.
