Meadowlark Senior Living

I don't know where these people live but it's not here. The meals are awful. Run out of everything cold food, awful menu, dirty floors. Full activity calendar but most on it does not happen. The cottages and assisted has gone weeks with no housekeeping with nothing in sight to solve this. Repairs take months to be addressed. Management gives lip service but nothing else. We are paying for services we don't get. It started with a lie that only one train goes by daily when infact several go by daily starting a 7am up till 10pm. Fresh prepared meals, they are out of a box. High staff turn over. When is someone gonna wake up and realize you have some problems here. Even the grounds are ran down. Wow, this place is under new management and it shows. I was greeted by friendly staff when I walked in, and met smiling faces all around the building. The people who live there seem very happy and comfortable. I encountered a lively group of women playing different games in their game room. I could tell by the laughter and the talk that they felt comfortable having fun there. I'm at one care staff who said they had been there 11 years and that she was really excited about the new culture that the company has brought in.

Positive experience at Meadowlark Senior Living- assisted living facility. When The facility came under new ownership in spring of 2024, there were significant improvements in the operations of the facility. Not only was the physical property improved In many ways (New paint, new flooring, Parking lot resurfacing), But also the staffing and meal preparation/service services showed marked improvement. The new director,Trina, Was approachable and available and worked very hard for the benefit of the residents. She also was very helpful when the time came for my family member to move to a higher level of care.

My mother moved in a few months ago and she has not been this happy in decades! She has made friends, enjoys going to all the activities and gets great care from people who really seem to care for her. Every time I come visit I feel very welcomed and the other residents are very kind and genuinely happy. I had the best time at the fair it was really fun I cant wait for the next fun event. I performed for a Meadowlark event as entertainment in May - and I got nothing but the best service from Erica as well as the other event staff. They were friendly, and more than anything I could tell they were caring for the well-being of the residents. It was a hot, mid-90s day when we performed and wow, the residents had the best care for such a hot day! They were safe but those who wanted to attend still had a lot of fun. I've seen a handful of retirement/elderly care facilities in my day and wow this was a great one!
