Meadow Brook Rehab and Nursing

When my niece was admitted to Meadow Brook she had severe problems with sitting and walking. She received the care she needed to make progress and now she able to walk and take care of herself. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many activities that she enjoys and she has always felt at home.

I have been at Meadowbrook for almost 3 years and I have always felt at home and cared for here. The administrators here do whatever needs to be done to make this place a great place to be with fun activities and hiring amazing cnas and nurses who are always attentive and give everything they have everyday to make sure we have all of our needs met.

Whatever you do, DO NOT move a loved one into this facility! The aids ignore the patients, call lights go unanswered for hours. One resident kept yelling for someone to help her. Food is delivered to them cold instead of warm or hot. When family members leave instructions that need to be done for your loved one, it gets done while you're there. But doesn't get done when you're not present. I would NEVER recommend this facility even to my worst enemy!

The Nurses and staff are some of the best. They Always took excellent care of my loved one. The building is clean. At the time of my loss i felt as they were my family. They were all so kind and caring. To me and my daughter's. I would recommend them.

I am truly going to miss the residents here. However after 7 months I have seen how a change in executive directors can truly tear a team apart. Going from such an amazing kind spirited individual (Nate) who always made sure both the employees and residents had what they needed, ie toilet paper, working toilets, tvs, soap, butter, juice, jam, and that is just to name a few things. And then we were given (Melissa) the community changed and we lost valuable people who the residents loved. From the moment we were given Melissa we had to justify the need of a piece of paper due to cost. The residents and staff have been under valued and due to budgets are not getting the basics that they need.
