MD Now Urgent Care - Harlem Heights, Fort Myers

My mom had earwax in her ear that was limiting her hearing for several days. We needed quick help for this condition so we could get back to enjoying our vacation. We were pleased to know MD Now Urgent Care was near our hotel. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist named Felicia, she even helped my mom with the iPad registration to make it easier for her. They had cold water in the lobby fridge and that was helpful to us as we were waiting to be seen. My mom has insurance but I was pleased to see they clearly list pricing on a monitor on the wall that was easy to find and read. We didn't have to wait long to see a practitioner. We saw a PA named Shirlette and an MA named Judith. What a great team! Together they quickly assessed my mom and gently remove the wax. It took some effort to

We were greeted and helped promptly by Shay. Tomika efficiently and professionally took my info, labs and vitals. Lastly, Shirlette Thomas, the PA was excellent. She quickly assessed my situation and did not mess around in prescribing what I needed. I was feeling pretty rough when I arrived at MD Now and we are from out of town. I was eternally grateful for the care. I will just add, they do not administer IV fluids there. They informed me of this right away.

Disgrace!! We called over two hours before they put us in que for 2:19. We arrived at 2:00 rushing because we got a text stating ready to go to window. We pulled in and went straight to desk. She stated now 2:45. At 2:50 I looked there were still 4 people ahead. I asked at the desk why I kept getting notified to go to desk and why haven’t I been seen yet in the text. So I asked as now it was saying 3:20 but could change. So upon inquiring again I was informed there’s only one provider. Seriously. Hire more people or don’t offer a call ahead to get in squeeze if you still end up waiting 5-6 hours. Be honest. She’s actually telling walk ins they will be seen in two hours…lie!!! We got in que at noon. There’s no way any walk in will be seen in two hours!!! More like 8-10. Horrible service.

Went online to make my appointment. I was number two. They opened up at 8:00 and in 15 minutes they saw me diagnosed with Dr. Shirette Thomas. She was excellent and the staff is just the nicest. Very thorough. Very happy ,right around the corner from me convenient

I came down with something on my trip to Fort Myers. I stopped in MD Now Urgent Care on McGregor Blvd. Very happy that I did. Shay at the front desk was very nice and polite. She helped me check in very smoothly. Topeka was the medical assistant who first evaluated me. Very professional and friendly. Dr. Barclay-Shell soon came in, quickly diagnosed me and was extremely accommodating. Despite being late in the afternoon on a holiday, my experience was A+ and I will definitely come back if sick again in the future. My meds were sent over to the CVS on San Carlos Blvd. ready and waiting for me. Thank you MD Now.
