MD Immediate Care

This place is a freaking joke for Veterans. I tried to see them multiple times. No one was at the facility, but then A woman pulled up and opened the facility on a Saturday when I did stop there because of their business hours. I was seen through a virtual computer. He couldn’t even look at the skin and tell me what it was. He’s treating me for a fungus disease. But he could not tell me what fungus disease. He was supposed to send prescriptions to Rite Aid, but I went to pick up the prescription from Rite Aid. And they did not have anything for me. He scheduled a follow up appointment with me for Tuesday at 4:30 and I showed up and nobody was there.

I am posting this again, as they have had my honest review of my experience at this facility deleted. On Christmas day I severely burned my hand (3rd degree). I called prior to going there for treatment, and was told there was no wait and to come to the office. I was there within 10 minutes and there was no one else there. The staff member at reception was very friendly and helpful, as it was my dominant hand I burned and she assisted me with check-in. I waited for 30 minutes when the doctor came out and began snapping at her. He said he was going home and would not return for a few hours. She tried to explain to him that I was hurt and had been waiting. He looked at me, rolled his eyes and stormed out. The doctor at this place is cruel and a disgrace to healers. I was given this location by my insurance for urgent care. I called ahead because my insurance told me they closed at 6pm but their website listed 5pm. When I called they confirmed they closed at 6pm. When my son and I arrived there was no one in the waiting room, just two ladies behind the desk. I filled out my paperwork and then we were shown a room. We waited for about 15 minutes when a lady from the front desk walked in with a laptop. They had the doctor on a video call. I left and explained at no point did they tell me they were doing a video call. She stated, “Oh I thought we told you.” No they did not. Called my insurance company immediately to let them know and to not refer anyone else to this facility.

I went here last week . I had an appointment. There was only 2 people ahead of me and no one else in waiting area. I waited 2 hours. I was really sick too. I would hate to be here with a child or in bad pain. The receptionist was nice. The technician that did my testing was very rough and lacked compassion. I wouldn't go here again for any reason.

This is the most unprofessional operation that I’ve ever dealt with. A copay was charged for COVID testing for a family member on my policy in October 2021. I was advised by my insurer that they should not charge a copay for the testing. Six months later and numerous phone calls between their billing department and office and this is still not resolved! I hate to give up but it’s not worth my time. Don’t go to this place for your health care!
