M.D. Express Urgent Care - Newport News

You don’t go into an urgent care expecting to be seen immediately, but the people really earned the 5 star tonight. The workers were very attentive and caring and did their best to get us in and out.

The worst ever. I was in at 430 didn't get released until 10pm. I would not recommend going here ever. The young assistants was trying to get smart when I ask how much longer. They need to shut this place down. The one in williamsburg is better.

Accidentally stuck my fingernail in my eye while sleeping and caused a corneal abrasion. Was seen very quickly. Some dye was put in my eye and clearly showed the problem. Medicine was sent promptly to Walgreens. Everyone was polite and professional and I felt well cared for. I only had to pay my pcp copay. Highly recommend them.

I came in about an hour before closing and unfortunately noticed that there were several people ahead of me (meaning that they were going to have to stay open past their closing time if they were going to see me and the people who came in after me). I thought they might start kicking people out at closing time, but thankfully they didn’t. I also expected them to start rushing people, but Dr. Rosenberg and the people who saw me were very nice and helpful and nothing like that. There was a lady whose name badge said that she was an Xray or MRI tech (can’t remember her name)—she was super knowledgeable and patient. She took my vitals and took the time to explain some things about the antibiotics I was prescribed instead of rushing me out. Dr. Rosenberg was also nice and had a good bedside man

Kevin Matthew McKelvey, DO Is the worst possible doctor. A little bit ago I went for pelvic pain and he tried to do a Pap smear but I was in so much pain he wasn’t able to perform it and claimed I had a sexual transmitted disease because he’s never not been able to perform one and also wouldn’t allow my husband in the room after I told him I was okay with it. Would definitely stay away from here and this doctor he doesn’t care about patients what so ever he was extremely rude as well. Do not recommend!!
