McQuade's Pharmacy

Rude and unhelpful pharmacy staff at Mystic location. I asked an important question about ingredients due to allergies and was told they could only speak with my doctor. I called two other compound pharmacies and they were more than happy to answer my questions. One pharmacist even ended the conversation with “You have excellent questions. I am happy to provide answers to your concerns about ingredients.” Now that’s customer service!

You advertise you are a great fish store, but I have been in your Westerly store various hours of the day and night, and I have never walked up to the fish counter and the meat counter to find anyone to help me. You have nothing to let the 'employees' hiding behind the glass that a customer needs their help. I have stood at those counters for at least 10 minutes to get waited on. It is not my responsibility to ask them what took so long; the manager should have corrected the problem by now.

McQuades pharmacy is an excellent independent pharmacy. The pharmacy itself is small and located in Mystic, but has benefits even larger chains don't offer. McQuades can deliver prescriptions and they get to know you personally, as they aren't a profit-driven corporation. If you have a problem, they'll take the time 1v1 to resolve it.

They have a hard to find prescription in stock but refuse to fill it because I have not used this pharmacy before. This is unethical.
