McMonigle Neurology Associates

I can't say enough about the team at McMonigle Neurology. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. This includes everyone from Dr. McMonigle, the PA's, Medical Assistants and office staff. They take their time to explain everything and provide timely followup. I chose McMonigle Neurology because they were in my Insurance network. I wasn't sure what to expect, but plesently surprised. I feel that I am in good hands and highly recommend.

Great appointment availability. Dr McMonigle is very thorough and has great bedside manner (something so few doctors have). Her office does constant follow ups to ensure you are doing well. I will definitely recommend her!!!

I am so grateful to have found Dr. McMonigle and her incredible staff. From the very first appointment, I could tell this was going to be a completely different experience than what I had gone through with other neurologists in the past. Dr. McMonigle is the first neurologist who truly listened to me. Instead of rushing through the visit or just writing a prescription and sending me on my way, she took the time to understand my concerns, ask thoughtful questions, and explain things in a way that made me feel both heard and respected. Her approach is compassionate, patient, and thorough. Dr McMonigle is great. The physician assistants I’ve seen are also extremely knowledgeable and supportive. The front desk staff at the Northport clinic however is a joke. The last time I visited the office, one of the personnel (I wish I took her name) was offensive, argumentative and lacked an extreme amount of professionalism. I never received a call that the clinic had rescheduled my appointment so I came in thinking I would be seen to have services done. She insisted on going back and forth about the fact that I did receive something and she can’t help me because they’re closing. The woman that was willing to help even apologized for her team member’s behavior which I find absolutely crazy to do. I don't recommend this place. What I want is for this place not use my brain exams to study for promotional gain. There is allegedly a PA Stacy who didn't know how not to send a unprofessional prescription electronically with just her first name, no physician provider name, and without reasons for prescribing this medication and not reviewing my on file medical history to see if I'm able to even tolerate this medicine. This is information I received from my Health insurance and the pharmacy because they called ME to tell me why it wasn't approved and for me to reach out to you all. Naturally as the patient I became frustrated because why I had to call this the PA for her to say to me and to whomever else was in her space or on the call that ' she wasn't going to tolerate this' meaning me
