Excel Urgent Care of East Northport, NY

First things first, I'd give negative stars if I could! This place has gone downhill over the years. Becoming dirtier and dirtier. Stains on seats, dirty base moldings, picture frames cracked and missing some sides, and it hasn't ever been repinted. I made an appointment online for 10:30 a.m. I arrived at 10:25, yes later than I wanted to, but there was one person in the waiting room who had a 10:40 appointment. We had to wait for 15 minutes before a receptionist came from the back office. 20 minutes had passed before two patients left. Earlier, I was told there were two patients being seen by the doctor. Ok I'm next, not yet! I waited another 10 minutes before being told to go into the exam room 10 minutes more before getting my vitals checked and another 5 mins before the doctor came

The receptionist, medical assistant and doctor were all extremely friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and made me feel reassured about my symptoms. I highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you for showing care to your patients.

The office was very clean and the receptionist was very friendly. The medical assistant was nice and the physician assistant was wonderful. She examined me and went over all my symptoms and prescribed me medication that I needed..

I went for the first time as I’m new to this area. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and helped me with signing in. I was seen by the PA who was attentive and met my needs. A good experience 👍🏼

Wondering if this place is under new management. Been going here for years and never had problems. Within the past 6 months or so, there seems to be an issue on every visit. On one occasion, they never sent the prescription to the pharmacy. On multiple occasions, they have tried to charge me a copay even though my insurance carries no copay for urgent care visits. Most recently, they told me that I have an outstanding bill from about a year ago and that I needed to contact MagnaCare to resolve it. I have never had MagnaCare insurance and never even heard of this company until this incident. How does a company get so disorganized so quickly?
