McLeod Primary Care Sunset Beach

EXCELLENT experience. Recently moved here from the northeast and was told to stay away from McLeod. I went in today, after waiting months for a new pt appointment, and was greeted by Dana. She was friendly, attentive and quick with getting all the necessary information. While I was waiting to see the doc (for less than two minutes), Justin (the phlebotomist) introduced himself and suggested that I let the doctor know that if I need blood, to send me back before he leaves for the day. He, too, was incredibly friendly and professional. I was then taken back to the patient room and met with Lace, Dr. Saadati’s nurse. She was thorough, friendly and professional. So the other reviews mention Dr. Rice. She is no longer here. The practice has new people and they are THE BEST around. My husband and I see Matt Zeuschner and he is so personable and easy to talk to. He actually takes the time to listen to my concerns and works to find solutions. My husband sees him as well as the McLeod Heart docs. The women at the front desk and the nurse there are all very friendly as well. We never wait more than 5 or 10 minutes when we arrive for our appointments. You don't feel as if you're being rushed through the system like cattle. We used to go to another place in the area and believe me...the difference is day and night. They have an online portal that's easy to navigate and appointments are readily available. Dr. Rice couldn't fill a prescription if her job her depended on it, which unfortunately, it doesn't seem to. Oh maybe it's because you haven't had an appointment recently. Nope, that's not it. I saw her for appointments in December 2019 and January 2020 and still had to call every day for a week to try to get her to refill my prescription beginning in February. Every month for almost a year, it takes me calling every day for almost a week to get a refill. This month, I called my pharmacist for a refill on Tuesday, called her office on Wednesday to make sure they had it (which they did), and then again on Thursday when it hadn't yet been refilled. On Friday, the very nice girl at the desk was very understanding but informed me that Dr. Rice had left an hour early since she didn't have any

This medical facility is exceptionally clean. The staff very friendly and eager to help, from the receptionist to the on point nurse. Dr.Rice is a knowledgeable, friendly caring physician. She runs a tight ship, making sure you are well attended to and she is totally aware and of your medical history. A highly recommend medical team for residents. Thank you

Dr. Rice is a fantastic, caring, & knowledgeable provider. Considering the fast pace & timed patient allotment spaces these medical corporations place on providers, she still gives her patients as much as her time as she can. She is very efficient, the office is spacious & clean, and the staff is wonderful as well. Keep up the great work!
