McLeod Pavilion

I'm attempting to reach a patient advocate at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence but it isnt the easiet. My wife just delivered our baby there yesterday at 8:05 AM. There have been some ups and some significant downs in our experience and I will likely reach out to people in senior leadership over them. At this time we have a more pressing issue and concern for me. I should preface by saying this is our sixth child born in a third different hospital, so we realize things can be done differently from state to state and facility to facility and every patient needs different care. Our son was born at 34 weeks and 6 days. Out of the mouth of the doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners the only reason he was forced into an automatic NICU stay is because he missed the 35 week cut off by

They scheduled SO MANY people for surgery on the same day. They told me not to eat the day before and here we are going on 40 hours later I still haven't had any food and im stuck in the waiting room thats PACKED and people are hacking on each other. I hate that this hospital is our only option locally.

My 83 year old Dad has been very well taken care of here. All the nurses, doctors & staff friendly & professional.

Spent six days at this facility for multiple health issues. Staff were caring, professional and friendly. Couldn't ask for better care.
